Urgent help needed please - tonneau clip installation

Help please.
I just received a rare spares tonneau clip kit and cant get the black rivet things in.
Iv'e tried a bit of grease and tried hitting them as hard as I dare to.

Is there a trick to getting them in?
They are really tight.

Try leaving the hooks in the sun for a bit, but not the rivets. They usually do need a pretty good whack. Maybe make a wooden dolly that you can get someone else to hold behind the panel while you whack them in.

All good, I had to resort to putting the clips into hot water and giving them quite a hit but they're fitted now.
