Skaife is still one of the best drivers to drive touring cars his record speaks for itself im a holden fan and always will be so credit where credit is due the only driver i have disliked was ambrose he thought his shit didnt stink thank god he went to the states hated him with a passion.

There was a massive rainstorm 18 laps short of the finish. A heap of cars crashed (including "that fella's" Skyline GTR) and the race was called off. The results were calculated based on the leaders position 2 laps earlier to allow more crashed cars to be placed. In effect, this meant that a crashed undriveable car (and a Nissan at that) won the race and the Lion/Oval brigade didn't like that much and booed Richards and Skaife as they came to the podium.

When a race is declared after a red flag incident the result is based on the last lap completed before the red flag is displayed, no ifs, no buts, always the same. It didn't help that the lead car had crashed in the meantime and the second placed (Ford Hero Dick Johnson) was still circulating!!

You only disliked Ambrose's because he beat Holden every race at the time he was a cut above the rest of the drivers

No rodney i didnt like him because he was an aroggant prick and alot of other people felt the same way just ask greg murphy and a few other drivers as for being a cut above the rest thats your opinion had a faster car thats all just like whincup today

I'm a Holden fan (Craig Lowndes and Russell Ingall), but can't stand Kelly racing or HRT.
Both a team of wankers (Tander's o.k.) and wouldn't care if they didn't exist.
