Has anyone put 2000 onwards statesman interior into a h series panno? If so how hard was the build? Im looking at doing a complete transformation with new statesman interior and motor and driveline. Cheers

Do you mean a W series ie HQ-WB? Or the original H series ie HD-HG?
In any case I doubt anyone has been off their rocker enough to try it! I have seen VN-VE dashes grafted into Holdens before but they never seem to look right. There was a HK coupe with a VZ dash on Ebay a month or so ago and it looked good, but still a bit wierd.
I've seen a few with the VT-X-Y dashes but honestly, why would you? They're a kind of ugly dash made from a pretty horrible feeling plastic. My pick for a late model dash would be VR-VS Statesman or Caprice.
Yeah I was thinking of it being some sort of retro fit panno with the w series motor and interior... Hmmm something to think about. Maybe I should stick to the h series or wb statesman interior... Thanks for the replies.
please please dont do it, the commodore dashes vn and new look rubbish in a commodore let alone a hq-wb, only vy/vz look half decent, you cant go past a gts or wb stato dash

do the running gear just leave the exterior and interior original
Sounds like the go now. It sounded good in my head lol! Thanks everyone.
I have seen a late model commodore dash and complete trim and running gear in a torana hatchback only 2 weeks ago and it looked like it came out from the factory very neat job indeed and suited it
Ive seen a few wb statesman interiors and I think thats the go.
I still reckon the HZ/WB U17 dash is the best of the lot. I personally like the SL/E (or HX LE) fascia the best.
U17? Sle is nice..
