Air conditioning details

Hi all,

I have just rediscovered an air-conditioning system that I pulled off an HX or HZ caprice in the late 80's for spare parts. I thought I'd post a couple of pics of the compressor in case the label is of any interest. If not, nothing lost.

it would have been of HUGE interest to me once. Because GMH shut me down. Sad thing is now I would say that this label will NEVER be available again as a repro. If I had it my way. I would have done it.

I think Rare Spares should employ me. ;) the amount of samples I have for all this gear is HUGE! sad but 90% of them will never get done now. Along with thousands of dealership decals I have samples of......

oh well........

i think the sadest thing is I have sooooooooo much info. and samples. That no one will ever take the effort to dig up again. Reason they wont is because there is no reason to if they can not reproduce it. Rare Spares or simular wont. Reason they wont is because it would not be economical for them to spent the hours hunting just to produce low volume decals. Whats really said is I was happy to do the once off ones. Or the ones like VN Plus8 HSV stripes. I did them. But now they will never be available again. Low number build car of 80. So wasnt like we would have sold many. But atleast they where available... This is just one of the ones and there was sooooooooooooooooo many more. that I have samples for still ! 1 click of the wrong button on my computer and they would all be lost...... Sad really but I would rather delete the lot than give it away :/
