Could always have a "terrible accident with a council steam roller" which would of course mean that you couldn't possibly give it to the person in that condition and profusely apologise while refunding their $$....

Dunno, I don't reckon I'd let it go for that little an amount, It is worth way more than that. I would have been tempted (even though I own a ute at the moment, but looking for that mythical cheap panno in a paddock somewhere so as to resurrect it) if shipping was an option in your listing, even though it is probably a bit big to ship.

Good dough for the guards though!

    Regards,

    Dave.

If I was that buyer I would not insult you by proceeding with that sale. Lets hope the buyer at least has some heart.

The buyer "may" have bid $300.00 in good faith but next bid increment led to the sale of $1.04 then that's just a bonus to the purchaser.
I have sold many, many items and lost out big time taking a risk with a $0.99 kick off. On the same note I have made some ripper purchases where I have felt sorry for the seller.
I've also sold items that have returned far more then expected. A deal is a deal, sale is a sale.

I'd say the killer with this auction is that is was limited to Adelaide pick-up only. Never a good way to sell an item if you want a maximum return.

If nothing else, it should be marked up to lesson learnt.

Tell me what you think about this listing.... Sandman pillar stickers

    ie; stickers - plural...

How many do you reckon got sent?

    Regards,

    Dave
Sorry Dave, the auction obviously had been edited before I got a look. If it said Stickers/Decals plural I would expect two and would have argued the point also regardless of the price.
I actually do custom vinyl decals myself so knocking up some of these is no hassle. You get the benefit of modern long life 3M vinyl from new stock.

The person who bid and won the auction did so in good faith. Just as the parts were listed in good faith. It's a sale and a legal contract.
Pisses me off when people refuse to let go of an item because it didn't get what they wanted. (Not saying Blocker is one of them).
    Auctions are always a risk.

The answer to that start the auction at the minimum you'd willing to accept.
