    Correct clutch set up for HX v8

    Hi Guy's, can someone put up a pic of the correct clutch linkage and clutch fork for a HX V8. I am confused
    HX L31 Sandman - Papaya
    LX SLR5000 - Aquarius
    Sleekline Ski Boat - Silver/White

    Clutch fork is the same as HT-HJ. There is a short cable and a really ugly pivot setup that converts the pull of the pedal into a push for the clutch. Same also as the first year of HZ. If I get time i'll drag out a scan later.

    mine looks similiar but has a lever with a hook on it!

    My early HZ has the hook too.

    I always had trouble with the rat trap on my early HZ, i would fit late hz/wb clutch setup, never wears or comes out of adjustment like the rat trap. much easier set up and hardly any moving parts apart from the cable.

    ^^Agree, but only works for V8. That photo will have the hook, you just can't see it.

    and you need the late hz or wb v8 pedal for the full cable one to work correctly..also make sure it has the right thrust race and carrier..also different to earlier.
