Today Sundowners Van and Street Club went to a Drive in show which was cancelled without any notice, so we went for a cruise and took some photos. I would like to thank Denis Cefarin for driving down from Taree for the day out.

When we got to the drive in, i used one of the members phones which had internet (isnt technology helpful sometimes) and find the info for the show, then i rang the contact for the show. He said it had been cancelled for months but the thing is that nobody was notified. There were alot of cars turning up the show, which were not pleased. This show actually had nothing to do with the drive in itself, the drive in movies still was on tonight but we had a BBQ instead.

Guys you missed the perfect opportunity.
My van was in the shop so I did not attend the drive-in show, plus I had things on until mid afternoon.
So I headed out to the drags with the kids, for a couple of hours.
It's like 3kms form the drive-in to the drag strip.
Good afternoon. The kids and I had a fantastic time.
Actually it was the first meet i've been to since I took my Mustang to the old track in 2002 (whow 10 years ago).
At the track you can back your van up and watch the drags from the tailgate.
    $20 for adults, kids free.
    Again great day.
I'll definately be there next time, in the van.
    Chrisp
