I bought this on blu-ray today and watched it this afternoon during a work break (current work requires breaks as it is concentration intensive!).

What an awesome story and movie! Very good escapism - made even better by the Rihanna and Brookly Decker eye candy! Plus many of the scenes shot in one of my favourite places: Hawaii.

Two of the greatest machines built by modern man have always fascinated me: the 1960's-70's Saturn V rockets that launched the Apollo missions and Skylab, and the Iowa class battleships of the 1940's. This movie features one of the 4 x completed Iowa's: BB-63 - the USS Missouri.

Loved it! Fanciful, but great to watch. Call it Dukes of Hazzard on the water!
