On our way home from AHD yesterday we called in to visit our friends at the winery. We organised that we can come there for wine tasting, when we do our November run which Frez is organising.
of course we had to do a lap

That looks cool, that left hander in the last pic, i was driving my brothers WB ute around there at 60 k's, took it a bit fine and nudged the red and white strip, the arse slid out all the way around the bend, was fun but makes you realise how good the V8's are doing the speeds they do around there, actually the whole track is awe inspiring for what the pro's do.
Cheers Mark
Good one, I will be there in 8 weeks but I dont think there will be any panelvans going around, but they will be V8's. Hope I can do this one day in my van?
I'am pretty sure we will be there as well but not in a panel van it will be a big year because of the 50 th year of this particular race although I think it is 74 years for the track and it's first race

There will be plenty of xu1s at bathurst this year 40 years since brocky won first bathurst race i hear they are trying to get 200 xu1s on the track before the main race should be quite special
Yes, the off camber over the shoulder of skyline and into the Esses and the Dipper always keeps you thinking 'when did I replace those ball joints last?' . Once you are through that, you know they are going to last so you can enjoy some extended tyre squeal around Forrest's Elbow. The hidden patrol car and 50 signs always bring you back to reality,.
