GTS Steering Wheel Horn Setup

Once again, another problem with the ute..

I am having troubles with setting up the horn in the GTS steering wheel. The horn when the ignition is turned on just blares, and the only way to stop it is to unplug the horn or take the battery lead off...

I think it has to do with 'peg' thingos that are in the cup (that the cover bolts to) I think that they are too far down and connecting with the horn mechanism/electrical thing... lol

I will have a fiddle with it and pull those 'peg' things out a bit and see what it does..

But in the mean time, does anyone have any pictures/description of how it should be setup???

The pegs activate horn when cup is pressed down , if you undo locknuts on pegs and wind out until horn stops .Then go another turn or so out so when cap is pressed pegs will activate horn . Hope this helps

Cool, thats what I thought was happening. Just wasn't 100% sure, and didn't want to go stuffing around with the wrong part..
