    Today's activity

    First coat of clear rust protecter, underneath the van....I was in it to push the brake pedal while Rodney undid the wheel nuts.....Tomorrows job is to do GMH black, then it can go and get the exhausts done

    No because he didn't follow rule 17.2.4 part c where it says quite clearly that: (and i quote)

    "Wife is at highest level at all times, it doesn't matter how big the pedalstal that she is put on, she MUST remain the highest authority at ALL times."

    Now clearly this hasn't been followed.

    Oh but it was I was ver ver high.......I was lucky Rodney didn't take away the ladder and leave me there.....(he wouldn't of dared to)
    this arv we will paint it black underneath......Soda blaster coming Tues to go talk about it with panel beater and the spray painter, then we will strip it down ready for him.....Saw a trimming guy in Grenfell Friday, he will make a new hoodlining, (has small tear) and re cover the seats and door inserts etc. So soon will be ready to register, then we will have to organise a trip with her....

    A bit more to add

    Today Rodney painted the underneath with GMH black it took 4litres and 2 coats.....my job was to hit the air compressor as it didn't want to play the game properly.....which is what sometimes happens when you buy s..t stuff from China....The exhaust is to be replaced hense was not done....

    Preparation

    Rodney spent four hours with de-greaser, and a high pressure washer, which heats the water....(needs to be very hot)....It takes a lot of work to get rid of 30years of dust and grease etc. build up especially around the front end and gear box area. When totally dry he then sprayed the under neath with a two pack clear primer rust inhibitant, and then approx. 2 coats of GMH black was painted on. Quote from rodney "It wouldn't be hard to do a better job than holden I found so many paint runs on chassis it was incredible"

    Well worth the effort!!:lol::lol:
    I'm tipping Rodney was glad to get upright again after all that.
