    WB Ute Intermittent wipers

I have the chance to get an intermittent wiper set up from a HZ Premier, Dash switch some wiring and a control box.
My ute is an 82 model (not badged as Kingswood) would this be a plug in option?
Also what would this be worth in working order but second hand.

    All help appreciated.

It should. WB intermittent setup is slightly different to HZ but it should all fit in and work. There is a power wire that goes straight to the fusebox, and a pair of plugs that attach to the harness at a joint in what is from memory a white wire. Just undo the joint and plug the two wires into either side. I've had more miss than hitwith secondhand ones of these in the past. I think i've had like 2 out of 10 actually work when I put them in.

$50, as odds are it won't work when you put it in. I've tried them from HX, HZ, WB and UC in various cars and had limited success. From memory the WB one has a much longer harness but get it and give it a go. Even if you fit it and it doesn't work it is a 2 minute job to undo the two plugs and join the original harness plug-joint back together.

Ok thanks again. Are they repairable or a throw away?

No idea, they'll just be primitive electronics inside the black box though so probably easily done. Probably the same problem as the clocks, ie dried out caps.

I got it the other day and it looks in good condition but I havnt fitted it yet.
I'd like to fit it as per the factory where possible.
Anyone no what fuse its wired from?
Does the controller mount behind the kick panel, and then put the earth behind a mounting screw?
