Unhappy Any Tips on How to Pick WB Door Locks???

Well, I got a couple of things done on the ute today but me being my stupid self accidentally locked the keys in the car and I tried the 'supposed spare' that came with the car but it doesn't work..

I feel pretty stupid, but does anyone have any idea on how I would fix this???

I originally thought try and pick the lock, but then thought wouldn't it be best to call a locksmith out to open it???

    What are your opinions??
    Cheers,
    Matt

dont pick the lock, you will stuff it, just grab a bit of blue packing tape, fold it in half, then slip between the the door seal near the lock and loop it around the the lock peg and pull up, i have only locked the keys in my old wagon about 10 times! work every time.

If the door seals are tight, do as per above but use a piece of flat wood eg wooden spoon to pry the door frame open a fracton so it pulls the seal away and then you can get the packing tape through. Any colour works though, not just blue. Look in the bin at The Good Guys or Harvey Norman or places like that for packing tape.

There not really that tight, but will probably use a wooden spoon to give me abit of room..

I will have ago when dad gets home and let you know how I go..

Just fold the tape in two and push the point through above the lock knob. Then slowely slide it down and pull each end to guide the folded point over the lock knob. Once it is over pull back and up. The lock knob will bend and then pop up.

I used to hide a door key in one of those magnetic key boxes up under the car just for such a circumstance.

Cool, I will give that a go..

I might have to invest in one of those key boxes.. It'll get me out of trouble next time..

Next thing is to learn how to start one without a key in 20 seconds! Creates damage though!
