wrong casting number for 327 in a HK afaik. should be 3974660 i think for HK.
most 3970010 block castings are 350's.
very few 327..

Not a HK engine as above, 3974660 is the right cast number for 1968 HK 327 and 1968 GMH assembled Impala and Parisienne. The 1968 HK 327 engines were 3932386.
Not being a numbers expert, but having two eyes, I notice it has a flex plate, and therefore must be rare bathurst 327 "Auto".
I'm now going to patiently wait, for someone to correct me...

It is originally from either a 1970 Chev 255hp 350ci of some sort or a 1979 165hp 350ci. All 4BBL. Engine was assembled at the Flint, Michigan plant on 12th September either 1970 or 1979.
