    HJ van ground up resto

    Hi All i am new to the sit looks good

    What i have HJ Sandman that we are doing a ground up resto on it i need HELP on the Chassis i need to know what is painted and what is not painted

    Not sure what is concorse,but I painted the whole chassis black and even fuel/brake lines.(not the flex section)

    I think micks sandman meant he doesn't know what constitutes concourse, not what the word actually means.

    Concours on one o these is rough as guts. Just GMH black painted on the chassis. Lines, clips etc added later.

    I just used flat Holden black I think it was called if you want to do it as oringinal look i'am not sure how you will get all the drip on the back edge off the rails .because of these drip I think Holden probably dipped the chassis

    GMH chassis black is the colour. These most people seem to have concours and perfection mixed up. As hk1847 says, they were not perfect from new. My blue wb had a patch above the rear window about two inches long that never got painted.
