Very Impressive, a job well done. I had a ute in the same colour and stripe package.

Would you believe she wasnt a dope smoking hippy! But she had all her design work and sketch books from holden in the 70s, i have been trying to get in touch with her again, all i know now is she lives in geelong somewhere and is retired.
But would be great to track down all the original designs and drawings.
On another note your van set up and colour is exactly what i want, but in the ute format, are you putting the front spoiler on?

Ready to start assembling the engine. In a moment of madness I made the following choices. Scat stroker crank and rods, VN heads flowed to 560HP with Manley valves ect, Solid Crane cam, Roller rockers, Torque power manifold, Try Y headers, 750 Square bore double pumper. All balanced. Had to go to .030 thou over. TH 400 tranny, Stage 2 kit with 2500 stall.
I've still got the original QT engine and M21 4 speed. So I can't see any harm in having some fun for a while.
sweet! as you said. nothin wrong with some fun

[QUOTE=Innuendo;55373]Barbados is a fantastic psychedelic '70's colour just perfect for a HQ Sandman. I love it! Fit's the era perfectly.
Same for Orange in the mid to late '70's.[QUOTE]
So true... But each to their own.
