Each spark, hence the 6 or 8 switch on the back of the flexdrive units.

There's a switch on them is there? All mine have always been in cars so I've never seen the back of them.

Anyone got a pic for curiosity sake?

Yeah, its a little thing (about the same size round as the clock knob.. But its a bit longer..) and it can be turned left or right to change it between 6cyl or V8..

I'll grab a pic when I have mine out next..
    Cheers,
    Matt

I just found out that my Tacho (Yellow Needle HZ) was supplying 12 Volts to the negative side of my coil. OUCH!!!

Found it too late when the Bosch HEC718 cacked out.

Does anyone know of a good instrument repair place that I can post to?

Umm, the Tamworth instrument place was the closest place to me outside of Sydney.. I wouldn't recommend them though, they were soooo slow and the prices were verry high with little warranty on them :(

I have fixed most of the guages now.. It turned out being just some corrosion on the fuse box clips where the fuse goes.. Cleaned that up and it worked! :D
The tacho is functioning, speedo is hooked up, temp and voltmeter guages are working.. Fuel is getting a little response, but not sure if it is working properly..
Now the Oil pressure sender is a faulty one :(
    Cheers,
    Matt

I've heard albury speed services is ok with these gauges, no first hand experience though.
