Thats great, i cant believe how much work went into it originally, putting a jag v12 indepent rear end in it would have been a massive job, but it would of handled very nicely!

You could buy a kit to fit the rear end. The V12 engine would have been harder, but it was backed by a TH400 so that bit was easy!

In the 70's the jag rear end was in most of the show van's, and also in most of the hot rod's of the day. We were alway's very impressed by the fact they were alway's fully chromed also. Don't know what was used in the 80's, I had dropped out of the scene by then.

In the picture it shows a v8 tunnel ram with 2 carbs, did it have a V12 at one stage? I once saw a 1 tonner on ebay with a Jag V12 in it, i was very tempted, but it had no engineers report so steered away from it.
