MISTRAL GRAY van on the move

Finally moved the mistral gray HZ sandy out of my sisters shed where its been for about 4 years. Im puting all the bits ive found back on it then plan to put it on ebay.

Already taken the engine out, attached a trimatic then popped it all back in. Putting all the front end back on today and tomorrow. What fun!

Hi guys. Yep good pickup. The motor isnt sitting right as it doesnt have a gearbox attached. I only moved it about 2 blocks though. I have now put the trimatic behind it and the crossmember back in so its all lookin right. The interior is all there and all original. Console armrest is pretty shabby but the rest isnt too bad. Not great but not totally rooted. Ill chuck some other pics up. I cant find where the hell ive put the camera otherwise id have some fresh ones.

Yes it has air con and power steering. Its a 253 and far as we can tell from the date stamp its the original motor. Was apparently running when parked but ive never had it going.

Not too sure what sort of price. Theres minimal rust and cowling, floor etc areas are excellent. The things its still missing are GTS dash, rear swaybar, a fan, triple pulley, air cleaner, and a couple of bolts in the rear suspension and the front air con radiator thingy. Prob be lookin for around 6k...

It does have the steering column back in since this photo.

This is how it looked before the layer of dust took over

It looks like a great bit of work there, wont be too difficult to move it on.
You've got a nice collection there regardless... do you have a 3 vehicle limit too?

    Ha kinda...
The other red van was mine that i sold a year or 2 ago. The one tonner in the background is a mates.

But I currently have 2 sandmans, a torana and a VH top 30 SL/E commodore so the extra sandman has to go really. It would free up some room and some cash for the torana..

Did you see the VH top 30 on Ebay last week? Sold for around $800. Don't think it had the engine and box though.
