My HZ modified Sandman Ute.

Well shes not quite original. Original colour is in the before pic. Very rare colour for the HZ Sandmans. Most in this colour it seems got wrecked or crushed for all their goodies. Ive never seen another this colour. Interested to know if anyone else has.

Its now a HZ Ute, Painted Ford's Galaxy Blue. Awesome colour on a square car. Changes all the time.
5L injected now full time LPG. (gas research). Supra 5 box. Vt front brakes, Vt master cyl, VP rear brakes. Got some white genuine leather interior happening at the moment. Should get nice and dirty!

Going to do some custom stripes for it. Maybe in greys and blues or whites and blues. Not sure.

Have also fitted a WB stato grille into the HZ twin front. Just for something different.

Use to get heaps of wanker comments about the early GTS badge on the grille. Telling me that its wrong because its not a GTS etc etc etc. As you imagine I told them all to go just and grow up . Why do I care if its not factory. Its all about making your car your own.

Got to have them where I live mate. I used to drive this on dirt roads all the time. Was my daily drive until I got married. Now its a shed ornament. Hasnt had rego for about 2 years. haha!

I done everything about 10 years ago. When it was cool to put a efi 5L in it. not many had been done at all. So there was no kits on the market etc etc to just wack it in. The eng alone cost me 4 times what you can buy one for now. It was a complete rust bucket! Basically metal finished it. There is one spot of rust popping infront of the windscreen. This is because we didnt replace the whole cowell. Will do that soon....
