As a survivor in that condition its subjective to that. It is a unique car and I suppose its worth what ever someone who desires it would pay. To do a date coded resto would also be hughly expensive and time consuming so if everything is origional I guess....
The radio supplied is a yellow needle one I noticed.

Awesome car. Bit too much coin given it is a HX, only a 253 and has windows cut into it. BUT it is a proper survivor in Mandarin with chamois/black trim. I reckon someone will pay in the 30's for this car though given it is a proper survivor.
I feel the only factor that would affect the price will be that it is a HX model. Some people are put off by that fact alone, for some reason. Having window's should not be an issue, we used curtain's in the 70's when they were new. Being a 253 wouldn't matter to the buyer, that was only a matter of choice when you bought them new. I would have thought that the public would have forgotten the flak that the HX copped on release by now.

Oz.. Does it have the wrong airfilter on it. I thought those ones with the pipe at the front going to the rocker cover were only late HQ and early HJ?

I think that is a HJ aircleaner. HX 253 that I can recall are the otheer way around like an LH 5 litre.
thats the most expensive i've seen advertised by a long long way
I reckon it is closer to 40K overpriced.
Windows, dents, rust, 253. $55 thousand. No way.
