I've got a semi rebuilt HX 308 motor with EFI cam, sitting in my shed going to waste.
I've also got a VS V6 that sits next to it every night. Soooooo
I'm wondering if it's possible for them to be friends and put it into the VS at all?

youll have trouble with the engine number/pollution rubbish for rego
But the block itself doesn't have anything different then the VS V8 block.
Heads & Manifold etc will but not the block itself.

got a different engine number tho, the problem will be putting the older engine into a newer car, you might get away with, it if your lucky, i think the rule is the engines got to be the same(there'd probally be certain amount of flex, i doubt its 30yrs tho) or newer than what its going into, feel free to correct me, only what ive read, go see the rta or who ever does your roadys theyll say yay or nay
need VS V8 k Frame
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
when you say EFI cam does it also have EFI heads?
You need engine, box, tailshaft, harness, ECU, radiator, throttle cable etc. HX block is basically the same as VS block and all the EFI stuff will bolt on.
dont even bother agro...just come and buy the vr 5 litre stato ive got coming..
sell the 308 and the vs and go and get yourself a clubby
Would love to do that but $$ is my issue.
