    hj interior

Can anyone tell me with a hj 18v trim code what parts are slate and what parts are black. It seems like the seats and door trims and dash pad are slate and all the hard plastic is black. Can anyone confirm this?
    Thanks

Only Slate black trim on a HJ Kingswood are:

    Seats
    Door trims
Rear quarter lower trim (will have to check wtf this means, possibly not relevant to ute).
Seat back panel (probably not be relevant to utility, only sedan and wagon).

Rest of "black" bits including instrument panel is black.

    Thanks mate,
its a sandman panelvan so only seats and door trims as suspected.
Do you have any tips or codes on the correct black for the rest. I need to do the console and dash pad.

It can't be 18V on a HJ panelvan as there is no such thing as a HJ Kingswood van. Can only be black ie 19V, as this is the standard trim on a Holden in HJ, and this is the only way you could buy a van in HJ ie Holden van.

ok its trim code is 64v but i cant stand that colour. So i was going to go for 18v because i thought it was available on HJ sandman vans. But you are saying that is not the case only 19v

Yes, 19V. 18V will look better anyway so i'd go for that is you are not going original.

there are 3 different types of black crash pads in terms of texture. HJ has the one with longer veins through it.
HX and HZ 18V is short grain black

HZ 11C is fine grain Black

there are just my observations only, i have no parts books.

They are Tuxedo. They look best in gloss, not certain if the original paint was a full gloss or not but once polished and buffed they become gloss (well as glossy as acrylic gets).
