    253 /308 cylinder heads

    can someone tell me if HT-HG V8 cylinder heads are different to HQ cheers

    Yes. HQ-HJ, LH-6/76 LX have an extra accessory hole on the ends, up high on the exhaust side. Used for air and steer brackets. Otherwise they are the same.

    30 odd years of playing with holdens and still learning i have just put my reco 308 that i bought into my HQ only to find the alt bracket doesnt fit .thanks for your help

    Try a HT-HG bracket.
