    Well, the van has finally got to the stage where it is off to be painted, all that is left is the last bit of final body prep and it will be ready for paint.
    Once that is complete we will start reassembly. The rear area and the cabin have already been painted. The tail shaft and radiator support panel have already been painted, this is why we have a twin light support sitting on the van.

    Black vans were always the desirable ones back in the 70's. This will be a good one for sure.
    Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

    i hire the same trailers. sik.mine looked all bodgey like yours too on the way to the painters. all look great once the top coats are on. good work dude

    Quick update.

    The van is going well at the painters, the hinges have all been painted and the body is not to far away from being ready for paint.
    At home we have rebuilt the proper steering column.

    Shame you had to use a HZ column in it! Beggars can't be choosers with this stuff today though, best to use what you can get. Can't wait to see it all finished.
