Hello guys,
I have been playing around with my upper tail gate locking mechanism today but can't seem to figure out why it's playing up.
When I turn the handle nothing happens, it's like it isn't gripping on the internal of the lock. Pulled it of and I thought that it may be friction that holds it together so I tapped it in on itself. Put it back together but no good. It turned without any load but slipped again once I put the spring and locking bolts back on.
??? How can I fix this...?

Mines the same but I think it's locked and I don't have the key
That sucks. Mine is unlocked but free spins I have no idea what to do short of jamming areldite in there bahaha ;D

did you try the parts manual might shed some light

get one of those flipdown toolbox locks with the padlock
ive had one do that. they start to slip before they let go. might be stuffed dude
