Bathurst 2012

Just wondering if anyone knows of where i can get accommodation in Bathurst for this years Great Race?
I have just heard back from the last chance of accommodation and it was unsuccessful.

SO if anyone hears of somewhere that can accommodate 2 adults & 3 kids, it'd be GREATLY appreciated.

Did anything ever come of that plan to try and get that piece of land near the track and park all the sandmans there? It was a cool idea...

That was me, and I will try for that next year because last year the people who stayed there turned his vineyard into a quagmire they are renovating their home so by next year the work should be completed. Also a lot of their friends come as well so I don't want to impose. The idea will happen but the timing has to be right.

No worries Jennie. Thought it might have been you. Its a great idea!! My sandy will certainly be on the road by then and it might be a great excuse to go to my first Bathurst. In fact itd be great to make that the first (first?) national mysandman run! What better destination could there be!!?
