i hope you are going to have them redone when i worked in the wreckers we cut all ours because it was illegal to sell second hand seatbelts

not illegal to sell second hand seat belts in nsw but other states have different laws.

Not a problem until you have an accident and 30+ years old belts fail and you have no idea of there history - and insurance companies are always looking for a way out if they can.

We do make sure our belts recoil, and the way Rodney sometimes drives, they get tested before we go out into the open road...lol....there are no airbags, etc. but hopefully we won't have a bad accident in any of our classics....but I guess you can never say never....

Does anybody know who services the belts in Sydney?

All seat belts are second hand once the car has been sold to the second owner......makes no difference if they come from the wreckers or the used car yard in my humble opinion.
