Shame it isn't a Sandman. Bloody beauty too, but too rich by about $5-8k for me:

That would have to be one of the cleanest, original HJ van's around. Really nice.

It is lovely. BUT, I can't see it pulling more than my Premier as an example to compare with, and I reckon the Prem would probably fetch $12k on the open market, back together and registered.
$18,000, is a pretty wishful figure, no doubt about it. I am just glad to see a commercial vehicle in such great condition.

Me too, that's what caught my eye about it. I was offered a HQ Belmont ute a while back in very similar condition, it was a 202 M22, one owner. Only main difference was whilst the body was awesome the paint was a bit more deteriorated (not as shiny and flaky here and there). I could have had it for $5k, was advertised in a local car yard (where it was traded) for about $12k but they couldn't even get a bite.

I just can't see a market for this kind of vehicle. 6 cylinder poverty pack really. When very few more desireable commercial vehicles attain that sort of money, it seems an exercise in futility to even advertise it.
