HJ sandman p/van door handles

Hi guys i'm about to get some stuff chromed for my 5/76 sandman P/van i need to know if it is supposed to have black door handles or chrome handles? If anyone can help. Cheers

If HJ then they are chrome i think - like mirrors and windscreen surrounds?? not sure if smooth or recessed

Weren't the recessed ones fitted to the Statesman?

Does anyone have the rarespares black handles? I think they are a recent addition to their range this year? They are smooth.
