    Ex Ambulance

    Gday,

Stumbled across this great page today, thought I'd share it:

    http://www.old-ambulance.com/Panel-van.htm

Contains some nice pics of the old ambulances as used in SA etc.

I met an owner of one of these in Port Noarlunga South about 6 years ago. He was travelling around, and was from W.A. it was a nice light blue / cyan colour. I was immediately shocked when I saw that extra door on the passenger side!

Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

    Cheers

    Gday,

3k for an ex-ambo panelvan!?! Sounds like a steal. I could only imagine the BENEFITS of having a third door! The one I seen at Porties had a bench seat in the back, no doubt compliant. Which makes me think that the floorpan must have been lowered too? Can the gearbox / propellor shaft allow this?

Any 1st hand experience / ownership comments appreciated...

    Cheers
