Was up checking progress on my van today at the panel shop , Panel Beater suggested I need new door hinges as the 2 sets I gave him are both quite worn, sagging etc. He suggested I try a engineering place to redo the pins/sleeves. Just had a look on ebay and you can buy a door hinge repair kit with pins, sleeves and even springs (if required), these are from kingswoodcountry in Victoria has anyone used them or repaired their hinges using another method etc?
i used rare spares hinge kit and had no problems
swap meets normaly have heaps of that sort of stuff really cheap. Got one for $5, nice and firm.
We bought some for the yellow van from Ozwreck as the original ones from the yellow van were loose etc. thankfully red van's were okay...due to so much use they do wear sadly
