Working out design and finish for malachite hz van

After restoring two hz vans the third is going to be slightly custom it will be painted malachite metalic its original colour .we could increase the metallic
    Some chrome under the bonnet
This is the van at the moment it is a sandman but van originally dealer fitted out as a statesman caprice

She has timber veneer dash fascia

So today I was doing some initial research with 15x10inch rims with 295x50 tyres . I think they will work without to much trouble

She needs a name and a theme like green witch ,green bitch, I don't know anyway all suggestion welcome

308 motor to go in may up the horsepower a little say 350 or so gilmer pulleys it all confusing

What about a 5 speed Trimesh box?

    Chrome tramp rod etc

So make a suggestion you never know you might help me and jennie get it right

Rod, seems like you sat looking at that fat rubber on the back of Sams Panno at the van in. Sounds like you are up for a build for the trip north next year...... Better get a move on!!! One year to go.
Malachite with vibrant gold pearl stripes or even pin striping.... Good combo. What about interior? Go light tan with that colour.
Gilmer gear? Might have to cut a small hole in the bonnet too to show a peak of chrome.
Looks like the Majestics love of mods rubbed off on the weekend.
P.S.... I have been thinking wide rubber too.

Yes the rear rubber was inspired by SAMs van ,there is no way it will be ready in a year we are still in thought mode

Fat rubber and real low stance gives vans a tuff look. Big rubber on the front will need powersteer.

Great stuff Rod, I like your thinking on this one! And after two immaculatly restored Sandman's why wouldn't you want to do something a little different?

Maybe you could hit up Rusty for some fibreglass add ons, he is making up a mean L88 bonnet scoop that would look great on it!

Wide rubber on the back, lowered, will look tough as.

    Now you're talking.

Stroked 308 and 5 speed would be good. I think that's what I'm going to put in mine. Van already has a 9 inch and stroker and box are in a VH SL/E sitting out at the farm.

Wheels look good. Any idea what those tyres are worth?
