i would go for the Pro touring mods with original paint and original trim. you can get 442 HP 383 strokers from the states, NEW for $7500 delivered to sydney.

yes 15 x 10's are too hard even at 5 inch backspace.

    15 x 9's will work....

has it got 11C trim code?

I agree with the people who said stock looking with a stroker. But I also think twin turbos

The fibreglass add on suggestion was said with tounge firmly in cheek... :friendly_wink:

I wouldn't suggest doing that to an original sandman, I can't even bring myself to do it to my HQ!
(A basketcase on the other hand...)

Here are a couple of pics of my favourite 'mild custom' Sandman, formally owned by Andrew (Vandil) of Majestic Vanners:

Nice wheels, Fat Rubber, Great stance, Modern driveline, neat custom features (bubble windows and taillight covers, full length bar)

Massive fan of this van, it now resides in Tasmania, owned by our first Tassie member.

    Cheers,
    Karl.

Karl, if you have loaded through the site then only allowed small images. See http://www.mysandman.com.au/forums/s...sting-websites for webhosting images. Then you can load bigger ones.

    304 stroker is a 350, not a 355! Common mistake/misnomer. It does become 355 if you use a +0.030" bore though.
