I got the first drive yesterday first time on the road
I can't believe how easy the steering is you would think it had power steering and I can't tell you why just that it is a totally rebuilt front end
The motor after a piston problem a month when bedding the cam which meant pulling the motor back out and replacing all the Pistons is running so sweet
I'm also really happy with the supra 5 speed just got to get used to holding a little bit of pressure on the shifter to the left when shifting from 1st to 2nd otherwise it just catches on the neutral gate
The side pipes mufflers are probably a little quiet but have a very throaty sound and having a balance pipe they don't give that chaff cutter sound
We are going to have learn to clean stainless ,and polished alluminium I think Jennie may need some advise on this subject
Anyway hope the all Holden day is fine weather and a good day

Well done Rod and Jen, good to see you got to do one 'your way'. So did I interpret an earlier post right the name will be 'the gambler' ?

Not sure about naming it something that has already got a history.
The Gambler is a pretty well known Van.

People put effort and thought into naming their rides and that's fair enough. But if somebody beats you to the punch it is poor form to use or steal the name.
You wouldn't like it if somebody in the same state as you with a Holden Panelvan name their ride "Koolmint" and rightly so.
