I never saw a van back when they were new that had a Sandman tailgate sticker and an engine capacity badge. I think if there are some around now they have been added by owners or one of those van customizers like Brian Rowe or wagon Wheels in Sydney. They did some very strange things with badges including a GTS badge in the grille of everything.
Any van with RTS got the badge below the crease whether you wanted it or not. A mate of mine bought one new and ordered his without the badge and it still came with it in place. Holden pushed RTS real hard!
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

Probably ended up on more 5 litres then.

What about a HX? Was it different...

A bit more done. Side windows in, door locks, gets mirrors, most of the engine, bay tailgate, bubble window ready to go in, centre aerial. We have polished fabricated aluminium rocker covers to go on but have to lift them by adding an aluminium spacer

You should have kept the original cable clutch setup and a Conmmodore/WB bellhousing - far neater in the engine bay!
