We put them in through holes previously there with the little silver lugs you push in first. These came with the van and is what it was like originally. That is where RTS badge is meant to be and the 5.0 badge is where they were, there is another sandman with badges in this position in Forbes unrestored only a Holden badge is where caprice badge is placed is on his.

Maybe "Caprice" is a good name for the van?
As the holes were already there, you can't argue with that. Love the progress photo's, really looking great.

Funny that Byron Rodney only said that the other day, I know what a Premier is, and a Statesman, but need to google what a caprice is..lol..
googled, its a person who changes their mind lol....a tendency to change one's mind without apparent or adequate motive; whimsicality; capriciousness :

Caprice- one who can't decide what colour Sandman to get, so they get them all.
BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman
Yep. I've never seen an RTS badge above the body line on a genuine original Sandman (because the sticker would foul it), and Holden always put the 5.0 or 4.2 above the body line. That's not to say that someone in the past 35 years or so didn't put a badge or 2 wherever they wanted on a replacement tailgate, panelbeaters were notorious for fitting badges and stickers in the wrong spot....
