    big weekend in SA next weekend the big river nationals in Barmera , hotrods and muscle cars pre 1972 , drag racing at virginia and GM day at Tanunda oval

    I went to Bathurst for the Motor Festival.
    Left Friday 1pm & got back last night about 10.30pm
    Thought i'd seen just about everything until i saw a Datsun 120Y do Conrod @ 170km/h.
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman

    Rodney said that is nothing he owned a Dato 120Y when he was 18, so you can imagine how fast he got his up to....Even though the speedo only went to 160km/hour, he reckons his would do 180 down the M4 towards sydney with a slight tail wind....:onthego:

    Lol i had a dato 120Y wagooooooon of course, wouldnt get more then 120 with out speed wobbles, fast lil sucker up to 120 though and did great burn out , wore the rubber down to wires and got sparks coming out

    lol, i miss my dato P platers today dont know what there missing
