    Was ABS available in HZ Sandmans, or was this a Statesman thing

    As the title says:
    Was ABS available in HZ Sandmans, or was this a Statesman thing??
    I found a part of an ABS unit today that i bought YEARS ago and didn't know if it was an option.
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman

    It was an option on the Caprice and then when they didn't sell or work particularly well for that matter they were made standard equipment to get rid of them.

    Disc brakes I think on the rear only, so not on commercials.

    Would have been interesting to see people's faces when it had "FACTORY ABS" on the display board.

    AFAIK it was only fitted to late HJ and HX Caprice and if fitted to HZ would have used the drum rear end.
