My hj sandman was built in Adelaide there should be a number stamped in the firewall if so where is it does anyone know?

Hi... I think that practice as abandoned for Adelaide cars mid-HQ.
If it had one it would be on the passanger side on an oval indented section. The important number matching is the chassis on the drivers side to the id plates.

Elizabeth cowl ID number dissapeared mid HQ as Mauser says. It is Pagewood vehicles up into HZ that had a firewall number.
what number on the plates matches the fire wall number? is it the number after the build date?

Nothing matches number wise, but there is a correlation that you can only find with collection of bulk ID off cars.
