Thread: HQ-WB roof spoilers (duck tail) can you still get them?

Alley Cat's bob tail follows the roof line a bit more towards the front.
    Nice job that!

That wizard mural was really good, pretty close to new when I saw it.

Agro, i like your van with the triple front and bobtail spoiler , in fact im going to do the same with my HQ Van, make our own custom one piece grill up and it will nearly identical to yours except Barbados green, windowless and no front spoiler, and sidepipes (maybe) your van has inspired me. would love to get an l88 scoop too but that would be impossible to find, basically i want it to look just like dads did.

    Thanks mate.
I don't know if the bobtail will go back on yet, just have to wait & see.

    L88 scoop - Try here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110837261...84.m1423.l2649

I've been playing today, and with the different chrome rims on the front, with the phase 5 scoop, rear bumperette's fitted, XB side vents and some Sandman blackouts, the whole appearance of the van has changed.

OOPS, forgot to add that the front grill can be removed and put a standard grill back in whenever i feel like it (i have 3 sets of Statesman grilles. 1 x HJ & 2 x HX/HZ)

I'm sure thats where I got my L88 where Agro suggested. Got a great deal over the phone. They have the fitting kit if you want to go that way and not glass/eurothane it on and delivery was super quick.

Still going to think about the L88 got a long time to think, my oldman told me that they are a pain in the a** because when the van gets wet in rain the water runs down the scoop and builds up in a channel and needs to be scooped out every time.

Take it for a spin that will shake the water out, but water in the channel - not a drama. But dont they look great.
