fan fuse/wiper problem

When I push the fan fuse in (it has to be live out of the fuse box for the moment!) it triggers the intermittent windscreen wiper to go off. anyone have any ideas where I could start looking?

Fan works when fuse is in... wipers just wont stop! Wipers work fine through stalk switch.

just had a lot of problems with this fuse myself, that fuse is wipers, washers, indicators, and heater fan, my heater wasnt working, and it turned out to be a broken wire in the loom between fuse box and fan switch after a lot of work with the multimeter. yours could be a faulty indicator stalk possibly? same thing happened to an earlier hz i had, brocken contacts it the stwich causing it to stay on, even though the twist part high beam and indicators worked perfectly.

cheers Buck! Ill give the indicator stalk a shot this week. cant hurt to do the ol process of elimination
