    Archway How To - custom vans and trucks

    Going through all my sandman related info, found these scans I took back when I was collecting custom van and truck magazines. May help someone whose building a 70s or 80s inspired interior!

    Cool, i remember the article when i was collecting them too, found those two pages on another website and downloaded them for that one day van project (it still hasn't happened yet) after all my copies of CV&T went missing, now i have to start all over again looking for the magazines.

    We used that pattern for our yellow van arch...very helpful, we bought the magazine from ebay, a few years back and found that article very useful....
    HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
    HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
    HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
    1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"

    hi jennie did this fit with full length roof lining

    Because of the full length hood lining I think I plane about 10 mm of the top the suit it wass difficult to get in to a windowless van because of the extra rib in the centre I had to remove 1 of the cover plate so I could manouvre it in to position

    no worries thanks for that i have full length roof lining and windowless so sounds like fun cheers
