    Single exhausts were on option in fact single was standard even on a sandman and dual was an option
    HZ jasmine yellow sandman van
    HZ Madeira red sandman van (now sold to bigrob)

    Dual was never an option. Only on sedans. You'd lose points in concours or factory authentic for a dual exhaust!

    It was what was on it, so will leave for a while, sounds pretty good anyway...both vans have been changed to dual though.

    The standard holden V8 exhaust alway's sounded like a V8 back in the 70's. Unlike the law abiding sound of silence imposed on the car maker's today.

    Duals look the part but they sound and go better with a properly designed single anyway! Extractors, twin 2" joined at the right spot with a 2.5" rear pipe with a Lukey muffler.

    Our HZ van has the factory single system and it sounds very ordinary.
    Its days are numbered
