Headliner rear wire for utes

Can anyone please tell me where the wire holding the headliner in a Ute goes. Does it only run across the top or does it go down each pillar (I see a hole each side on my Ute). Unfortunately I don't have the wire and hence don't know what it looks like.

when u say wire im guessing you mean the metal bows? If they are the same as vans then i think they just go side to side and a ute may only have one or two. they dont fit or run into pillars. should fit nicely into the holes you've got already!

I have the two bows and the holes are there, including an extra set which I don't need to use. I went to start the fit up on the weekend, fitted the bows and then tried to work out how the back holds up. When I looked up I can see the clip/slots to hold the third line in the headliner in but I don't have the wire to go with it which runs along the front of the roof seam at the backbehind your head. There is also a hole each side at the same level as the bows and I am wondering if the wire clipped down to these holes.

if i remember correctly theres 2 bigger wire bows, that go in the middle, the front goes under the rubber thing along the windscreen and then there is a thin wire that clips onto the roof at the back, well thats what i pulled out to get a new one made atleast

Hi mate - I have my lining out at the moment, with wire and bows put back in for safe keeping. Would pics be useful for you?
