Despite the typically very oridinary weather, there were still a few hundred cars at the all Holden Day at the showgrounds in Geelong today. Amoungst them was this HX XX7 plated L31/M21. I couldn't fault it, A1 panel, paint and interior. And the surfboard in the back gave it a nice touch!

Nice. Cant see why people devalue HX Sandmans. They have the nicest dash, white needle, silver facia. They have the best stripes (same as HZ more or less). They have the nice clean single head light front with the best grill.

Well our ute is HX, and we love it..and she is easy to restore, without the spoiler too lol.....btw are you going to the wello swap tomoz...we might, but will go in the Jeep as floods water could be an issue....

Looks like Bordeaux!!! I really like the colour...its a refreshing change compared to all the bright colored vans.... looks quite classy

bummer. mine was near the same except chamois and T400... oh well young buck that picked it up will give it the attention it deserves.

It is Bordeaux, original colour on the plates.Looks like Bordeaux!!! I really like the colour...its a refreshing change compared to all the bright colored vans.... looks quite classy

My colour preference seems to change with what I see. My favourite was the greens (thats what I painted my seconded Sandman that 'Randee' now has), the Valencia vans look fantastic, then the 'satin mist' looks great too. I guess I like them all - regardless of colour!

Bordeaux red is the colour done in acrylic, painted by 'Cre8tive Edge' in Bacchus Marsh, surf board was a surprise gift arranged by myself and some mates, car was unvieled at the Bacchus Marsh David Calleja show in early Feb this year, Won peoples choice top Australian and Car of show, Won top original HQ-HX at a very wet geelong Holden day.
This web site was a very valuable tool that was used alot when we restored this van, thanks everyone...
