Thread: Sandman Brochures

    I notice that in the last (HZ) photo that the back wood section of the seat seems still to be off white, even though the seats seem black.
    I've noticed in some restored car photo's they've colour matched this timber. What was the right way??

    P.S. Thanks for the brochure pictures, it's great to look at.

    Mines got the original seats in Black with the off white backing board.

    Thanks for the brochures Blocker, I now see we need to paint the inside of the back of the ute mandarin red like the body...we thought it was a grey colour, like the vans.....

    Remember that the brochures nearly always have incorrect Sandmans on them. For example the red HX ute has no tonneau cover hooks. Byron no doubt knows of heaps of others, I know we have discussed these inaccuracies before. The cars are usually pre-production ones, and often the series before car was used.

    Well James since you are the Guru on HX what colour should it be in the back, it will be painted in the next few weeks, so if it can be the same colour it would be easier, I have also checked our biante Mandarin HX ute, and it is red in the rear....
