Deauville Blue Metallic so could be likely. May need Byrons keen eye or more info for confirmation though (full headlining, remnants of original GTS equipment, door switches etc)

When I checked the rear above the top tailgate there was the ribbed piece of metal that holds the full headlining.

I have no doubt it is a Sandman. The date suits the weight and paint colour is good sign plus the headlining strip.

do you have a bordeaux sandman with good paint. i have one unrestored and not in the right colour, would love to see a photo or two

mrsandman, Sandman44 asked me the same enquiry. My Bordeaux Sandman sounds like yours. I referred Sandman44 to search pitcures on this forum where there is a picture of a Bordeaux Sandman, although the one in the picture has the incorrect decal colour strip.
