    Tyre Suggestions... Need Help!!!

Hi guys, the ute is coming home on friday. So excited!!! But it won't be registered until after March/early April.. :(

I have to get some new tyres organised for rego, and was wondering what were peoples suggestions.. I (or the family) have never had to buy tyres for a ute like mine... Cause we have a 4wd.. lol hahaha

I would like to have white lettering on the tyre and it is to suit the original steel WB rims.. I am also after a tyre that is fairly good in the wet.. I'll need all the help I can get being a lead foot and not having any weight over the rear wheels.. And one that will be durable and not have to be replaced every 6 months.. lol

    Anyway, what are your suggestions??

    Cheers
    Matt

With 14 inch rims on there I'm not sure if you're going to be able to be choosy. There's not much out there to pick from these days in those sizes to suit a large car.

i have the Maxxis which is the control tyre for HQ racing after they swapped from the kumho

Seen them give those things a flogging in the wet, and mine seems to hang on ok
ive flipped mine now but they do have raised white writing if you prefer

the original steel rims are 6 inch, so 215 / 65 /14 is a good size...
raised white letter writing is more AGRO's style, and i dunno if it would suit, maybe if you paint rims red and go for rat rod look, it may be acceptable... lolol

Thanks mate, what Maxxis is the tyre??? The parents have Maxxis on the 4wd and we are very impressed with them... How much were they per tyre if you don't mind me asking?? and they have white lettering which is a plus...

Yeah, the tyres that were on the ute when I got it were 215/65/14 and it looked pretty good... So I will try and get a set of those.. Again, raised white lettering is f^#king awsome.. I'll find a way to make it look awsome... If not, I'll just get the tyres rotated so the white lettering is on the inside...
