    Way to sell a ute!

"HQ ute. I've had this for 14 months and it's been the worst vehicle I've ever owned. First and last Holden ever, what an absolute piece of sh*t."

What a wanker! Reckons he bought it off a retired couple who treated it like their baby and then next sentence says "jerks who sold it to me thrashed it".

I think he means it came with a red motor, and he put a blue in it. Which had been thrashed by the previous owners.

At lease he's being truthful. Maybe the buyer holds honesty quite highly?! :concern:

Sounds like a typical F0rd owner to me. All they do is bitch and moan how this or that woudln't happen if it was a Ford (Probably true, as all the F0rds have been recycled and come back as Kias!). And yet they still buy Holdens as they know they are the most reliable and will last. I know two of them, father and son. Both talk down Holdens and carry on about how good F0rds are. Both of them bouight Holden 1-tonners for their businesses. "Bloody Holden engine, wouldn't happen if it was a Cleveland", that sort of absolute cr@p. I just tell them, find a 1972-7 Ford ute (good luck!), buy it, live near the coast like you do and see how long it lasts! My guess it'll be unregisterable after 12 months!

entertaining reading and even though i'm not inclined to buy it, i'd be more inclined to believe him rather than those who crap on about how great the vehicle is only to get it home and the trouble starts.... i'd say he'd tell you what the trouble is from the outset... then again, he could also be good at his game, i.e. marketing and it's just a fab ploy to sell the vehicle... who knows....
it's here and I love it!!

he also has a reconditioned fuel injected 5 litre for sale with computer $2950 and as for the ford / holden debate i cant see how anyone can say they hate all fords or they hate all holdens i would love to have a sundowner to add to my collection as well as drifter (chrysler) or even an XB GT coupe

There are a few Fords that I'd actually own too, at the right price, but as there aren't all that many good ones they are dearer to buy. For me XA GT sedan or coupe or XW GT-HO Phase II.
